Miranda Lambert's latest single "Tin Man" is inspired by a fictional character that everyone is familiar with. Surely Miranda was familiar with him too, but the singer says that it wasn't until she was going through a period of personal turmoil that she began to see the character in a new light.
Just because Miranda Lambert is a superstar doesn't mean that she doesn't still get starstruck.
Every time I tried to order at Starbucks, I'm given a name that kind of sounds like my own. The best one? Haren. 'Cause that's a name.
Miranda Lambert's grandmother, Wanda Coker, is a big part of her life. If you're a fan of the singer-songwriter, you may know that her beloved airstream is named Wanda. And, if you've seen the music video for "We Should Be Friends," you may have picked up that it's set in Wanda's House of Beauty.
Miranda has opened up on social media about how special her grandmother is to her, posting this picture of their manicures and writing, "Hands of time... my Nonny and I got to have a lunch date and get our nails done. nothing like a grandma gal pal."
She went to talk about a gift from Wanda that has become important to them both.
"I wear the first ring she gave me to every important thing I do," she wrote. "It brings me strength and luck. But most of all it brings me pride. That she passed it on to me on my 30th birthday. She said she saw me wearing it on the [ACM Awards] and it made her smile. That makes ME smile."
She also added a few vibrant hashtags to the post, including Wanda, Original Badass, Keeper of the Flame and Family Tree.
Miranda Lambert is really starting to come out of her shell a little bit and fans are loving it.
The ACM Female Vocalist of the Year recently shared a photo from her big night at the ACM Awards and not only is her beau Anderson East rockin' a smile, she's doing some smoochin'. Typically, Miranda keeps the PDA to a shockingly low minimum, but fans are loving this side to her.
Keep doing you, Miranda.
Sure, the ACM Awards are about trophies and performance but we'd be remiss if we didn't acknowledge the beautiful gowns, cowboy hats and blue jeans walking the red carpet. (Spoiler Alert: You won't recognize Dustin Lynch!)
