Here's What We Know About Shania Twain's New Music Coming in 2017
It's been almost 15 years since we've had an entire album of new music from Shania Twain.
She's released a smattering of new songs since then -- such as "Today is Your Day" in 2011 -- but not an entire project.
It looks, though, that new music is on the way in 2017. Here's what we know:
"I'm so overdue!" Twain told Entertainment Weekly. "I feel like I just need to keep making albums now."
She knows we've been waiting and therefore she's making it good.
"I wrote all the music myself," she told E! News. "It was a very emotional experience. I cried a lot."
The album will include "painful and melancholy ballads that evolved into completely upbeat songs" and "triumphant" female focused tunes.
And she spent a lot of time alone, creating everything in a vacuum and some unusual spaces.
"My bathroom is always great," she admits, explaining she likes to be alone when she writes.
The songstress also spent time producing the songs before she got in the studio.
"It's really fun to experiment with arrangements," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I did so many of my backing vocal arrangements—just being able to have all these multitracks and moving them around and experimenting that way. By the time I got into the studio, I was already quite familiar with what I wanted to do."
Chances are, if Luke Bryan asked to borrow your phone, you'd let him borrow it. Even if he was on stage in front of thousands of people. And chances are, unlike when you let other people borrow your phone, you wouldn't hand it over and say, "don't scroll left!" or "don't look at my texts." This is what happened to a fan when she let Luke borrow her phone on stage during a recent show.
When I think of the 4th of July, I usually think of the John Adams' letter to his wife Abigail, "The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America.I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more."

Britney Spears Has Finally Addressed All Those Lip Syncing Rumors Saying She Busts Her Ass on Stage While Singing
Britney Spears and I are basically the same age. I've watched her through all of her various stages of life and have never rooted against her when she was at her lowest, but even when she was at her peak I never actually thought she was singing.
Johnny Manuel Sang Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" on "America's Got Talent" and Only Whitney Could Do It Better
Covering Whitney Houston is a tall order. Covering Whitney Houston if you're a man is even taller. But, don't tell Johnny Manuel that, because his "America's Got Talent" audition was totally out of this world.
