Over the past couple of years, we’ve had the privilege of watching thousands of our One Country fans rally together to change lives, all while earning entries into our giveaways. But do you remember our first-ever giveaway winner?
Meet Christie P.! Christie won our 2019 Infiniti QX80 Giveaway and while says she was intrigued by the opportunity to win prizes, she knew her donation was going towards something important.
“I’m aware that there’s a problem with childhood hunger in the United States and in our communities, so it was something that I wanted to do,” Christie said of her donation to One Country Give. “Whenever I can help, I enjoy it. It makes me happy.”
Just like most people who enter giveaways, Christie says she thought her chances to win were slim. “I donated to the cause, and it was just a bonus to have a chance to win—and whoa! Who would’ve thought I’d actually win!?,” she said.
As it turns out, Christie originally joined One Country as a monthly member, which means she receives automatic entries into all of our active giveaways each month.
“I enjoy helping people,” she said. “It just makes me happy and I was glad to be able to contribute.”
As for her big win, Christie says she’s still in shock. “This doesn’t happen to people every day!”
