There’s a reason Blake Shelton has won “The Voice” more than any other coach– he knows talent and he helps promote them more than any other coach. People just rally around what/who Blake rallies around.

The three remaining members of #TeamBlake on season nine of “The Voice” each advanced from the Top 12 to the Top 11 after the first night of live eliminations.

Before finding out their fate, each of the Top 12 was asked a question you would only hear on “The Voice” or at a beauty pageant. It almost seemed like the producers didn’t even tells the contestants they might be asked a question, there were a lot of caught-off-guard people on that stage.

The coaches were also asked questions and of course, Blake had the best answer. Carson threw up a vague, well-intended, “what do you hope America saw in your team last night?” (This is a reality TV show, not a presidential debate, but keep on, Carson!)

Blake nailed the answer, “I hope they saw there’s potential in all of them, not just on this show but moving forward after. All three of them, I can envision them having careers after ‘The Voice.’”

Translation: this competition doesn’t matter as much as me helping them after it’s over matters.

To show just how much he cares, Blake joined #TeamBlake members Barrett Baber, Zach Seabaugh and Emily Ann Roberts on stage for a countrified version of “Lean on Me.” There was even choreography!

Of course, after the show, Blake tweeted his heartfelt congratulations to his team.
