The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and newcomer John Legend are ready to go for the start of Season 16.

John is taking over the coaching seat from Jennifer Hudson following season 15. “I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL,” John said after being announced as the fourth and newest coach for season 16.

With the new season fast approaching, The Voice has released a first look at what’s to come from the fabulous foursome.

“I was so excited to join the voice. I have been on here as a guest and mentor. I’ve been here as a performer before but as someone who sings for a living and produces that whole concept to be able to make someone’s dream come true with the push of a button is a really powerful thing,” John said about the upcoming season.

While John is new to the show, it seems like the other judges look at him as a threat.

“It’s exciting to have an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscars, Tony) winner on ‘The Voice.’ I won season 14 and  I won season 15 but he is my biggest threat this season,” Kelly said of her new fellow coach.
