With recent mudslides and fires affecting Southern California this year, Brad Paisley has taken it upon himself to lend a hand.
Joining forces with special guest, Ellen DeGeneres, Brad will host what is being called the The 2nd Responders Benefit Concert.
The concert will honor those who were on the front lines—the first responders—during the recent southern California wildfires and mudslides. It will take place Saturday, May 12 at the Santa Barbara Bowl, in Santa Barbara, California.
“Kim and I fell in love with Santa Barbara and the Montecito area on our honeymoon. It feels like small town America by the sea,” said Brad. “With this concert I hope to raise awareness, spirits and money for the region that’s recovering from the devastating mudslides and fires. I hope people come out and actually make it an experience with us and visit some of the local shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops.”
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the community and service workers through local organizations. Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, March 24 at Noon.
