Brett Eldredge loves Christmas. That’s evident with the release of his Christmas albums Glow and Glow Deluxe, his five-date Christmas tour and his posts on social media that share his love of the holidays.

“I love Christmas music more than just about anything in the world,” Brett once said in a statement.

As the 32-year-old headed home to be with the family for Christmas, he couldn’t help but share another Christmas songs with his classic vocals. In an Instagram video, Brett can be seen sitting by a beautiful Christmas tree singing “Silent Night” as his beloved dog Edgar, sleeps peacefully next to Brett. That’s one lucky dog.

“Sitting under this tree with my family close by, I can’t help but think of how magical this holiday season has been…thank you for taking me on a Christmas ride of a life time and letting me be a part of your Christmas memories…I love you…MERRY CHRISTMAS, sleep in heavenly peace,” he wrote on Instagram.

Brett has covered his favorite Christmas classics in the past, including “The First Noel” twice on his newly released 18-track album Glow Deluxe, released on Oct. 26. One has a stirring string arrangement while another is him singing a cappella.

While home Brett has admitted that these days he prefers to catch up with his family instead of singing in church.

“I would always sing every year. I would sing ‘O Holy Night’ in the choir loft,” Brett said. “They still give me a lot of grief over the fact that now I just want to sit with the family.”

As long as sitting with family includes hearing Brett’s smooth vocals on “Silent Night,” we think everyone can handle that.
