When listing the accolades of country music’s hottest duos, it’s hard to match the accomplishments of Brooks & Dunn. In addition to ACMs, AMAs, People’s Choice, Billboard and Grammy awards, the pair reigned as the CMA’s Duo or Group of the Year for 13 out of 14 years. Kix and Ronnie have amassed a whopping 21 number-one hits and all but two of their studio albums have sold over a million copies. Their The Greatest Hits Collection has sold over four- million.

Brooks & Dunn is celebrating another milestone with the opening of their new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum exhibit, Brooks and Dunn: Kings of Neon. The exhibit, which opened on August, 9 and remains open until July 19, 2020, includes mementos from Kix and Ronnie’s days as solo artists and continues through their partnership, retirement, and return to performing together.

“It’s been so fun, it’s what this exhibit is about,” Kix said about his career. ” I’m a fan. That’s why we dedicate our life to this. I’m a country music fan and I cannot look at many of these plaques on this wall and think that these are my peers. To get to share this room, when Ronnie and I go through our induction ceremony in Oct, just to be in the room that’s pretty freaking special for me. I’ll look at Hank Williams and Johnny Cash going, ‘Man, thanks for letting me hang with you.'”

In addition to the exhibit, Brooks & Dunn will also be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the “Modern Era Artist” category later this year.

And, because…why wouldn’t you, the acclaimed duo is also releasing special live versions of performances from their recent CMT Crossroads, “Brooks &Dunn and Friends.” Fans can now stream the duo’s collaboration with Luke Combs (“Brand New Man”), Cody Johnson (“Red Dirt Road”) and LANCO (“Mama Don’t Get Dressed Up for Nothing”).

If you think all of this ceremony is an indication that the boys are slowing down, guess again. In addition to the shows left in their Las Vegas residency, which take them through December, they also have a couple of regular show dates in August.
