On the heels of the release of their latest album, Port Saint Joe, Brothers Osborne stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to perform a cut from the album, “Weed, Whiskey and Willie.”

The traditional country song, written by John, T.J. and Laura Veltz, finds the brothers singing about healing a broken heart with a few vices like weed, whiskey and country music.

I’ve got bottles and vinyl stacked to the ceilin’ / I get stoned for survival, it helps with the healin’ / And when it all goes to hell the only thing I believe in / Is weed, whiskey, and Willie,” they kick off the song.

You can take the rain / You can take all leave my name / You can have my heart / It’s broken anyway / You can take my reputation / And drag it through the mud, go on and abuse it / But don’t take my smoke / My jug of brown liquor or my country music.”

The guys took to Instagram to share their experience. “Felt good to be back on @latenightseth last night, the brothers wrote. “Thanks the for invite and for letting us play a 6/8 country song.”

Brothers Osborne will next hit the road with Dierks Bentley’s as part of his Mountain High Tour. Their next show will take them to Cincinnati, Ohio on May 31.
