We may know a lot about Cam, but many people don’t know that the “Diane” singer started an a cappella group while she was in college.

The University of California, Davis grad co-founded The Spokes, an all-female a cappella group, while attending the university. That’s right, the California native starred in her own “Pitch Perfect” movie.

The group wanted to honor their co-founder, so they took to Instagram with a special treat. They did an a cappella version of, “Diane.” Why? Because they love the song.

“We LOVE the song that our amazing Co-Founder Cam Ochs, @camcountry, recently released and just had to do an arrangement of it!,” the Spokes wrote in their post. “We love you Cam and we love “Diane”— hope you like our rendition of it!”

The “Diane” singer immediately responded by reposting their performance with a few words of her own along side.

“Full circle moment. When we started this a cappella group in college, I always thought about the future women, and how I wanted them to have a space to thrive in, long after I had left,” she wrote. 😭 Brb while i go cry proud mom tears.”
