Carly Pearce is riding high in 2018. The singer, who recently celebrated her first No. 1 single with “Every Little Thing,” achieved a major career milestone when she made her debut at Riverbend Music Center on Sunday (Aug. 5). Her hometown venue, the singer grew up watching concerts at the Cincinnati, Ohio, amphitheater and dreaming of one day being on the stage herself.

“Last night was an absolute dream! ” she says in a statement. “I literally sat in those seats watching Rascal Flatts on stage for one of my first concerts. Next to the Grand Ole Opry, Riverbend has been on a pedestal ever since I was a little girl and throughout the years seeing shows with my best friend Kara, who I reminisced with all day! This area shaped me into the person I am and the music that’s made so many memories.”

The singer tearfully sang her first hit, “Every Little Thing,” to the packed crowd last night when opening for Rascal Flatts. She also joined in with the country trio later that night for a medley of hits during the band’s headlining set. She shared this excitement with fans on social media throughout the day as well.

“Just checked off the #1 bucket list venue for me. I love you, Cincinnati/NKY. The city that shaped me and the city that SHOWED UP tonight for their girl,” she writes alongside an image of her performance.

Later, she also posted a sweet moment with boyfriend Michael Ray backstage. In the photo, Michael can be seen kissing her forehead following her performance.

One day later, she’s still riding high following her career achievement. For those who missed Carly’s performance as part of Rascal Flatts Back To Us Tour, fans can tune into ABC’s “CMA Fest” television special on Wednesday (Aug. 8) when she performs “Hide the Wine.”
