Last November, Carrie Underwood suffered a fall outside of her Nashville home that left her with a bum wrist and 40-50 stitches in her face. She took time off and time to heal, telling fans in January, “even though I’ve had the best people helping me, I’m still healing and not quite looking the same. I honestly don’t know how things are going to end up but I do know this: I am grateful.”
In recent weeks, she has shared photos of herself and released a new single, “Cry Pretty,” that seems to be a personal look into the last few months of her life. And now, she’s stepped into the spotlight again for real on stage at the 53rd Annual ACM Awards and she looked better than ever.
During her performance, Carrie not only looked normal, (see: amazing) she sounded better than ever. Carrie may have taken a break, so we’re calling this a comeback, but as Jay-Z once said, “don’t call it a comeback.”
