While many of us ring in the new year relaxing on January 1, Carrie Underwood was no different. The “Cry Pretty” singer hit the couch an snuggled with her son Isaiah and her growing baby bump.
In an Instagram post, Carrie shared a photo of herself revealing her baby bump as Isaiah relaxes with mom. Her son’s head is nestled on mom’s belly using it as a big pillow.
“Kicking off 2019 right…Me and my boys cuddled up watching a movie. Yes, I’m wearing Mike’s shirt. 😬 #LettingItAllHangOut 🤰” she wrote.
Carrie revealed to fans that she’s grown out of her own clothes and is forced to wear Mike’s larger clothes now that her belly has expanded. “Officially wearing Mike’s clothes in public now, so…#pregnant #MyClothesDontFit #sorrybabe, the 35-year-old tweeted.
The couple announced they were expecting their second child in August via Instagram. However, it was recently revealed by future tourmate Taylor Dye of Maddie & Tae in an interview with US Weekly, that the baby would be arriving sooner rather than later.
“January,” Taylor told the publication at the CMA Awards. “And we’ve already offered to babysit.”
It remains to be seen if Taylor is right, the countdown can begin. In the meantime, Carrie is getting her much needed rest before the baby’s arrival. She will then hit the road with Maddie & Tae and Runaway June for her headlining Cry Pretty Tour in May.
2019 has big things happening for the Underwood/Fisher family.
