As Carrie Underwood awaits the arrival of her second child, the “Church Bells” singer is fighting something many face while pregnant—insomnia.

Carrie was up late tweeting about her bout with the dreaded sleep disorder while many slept soundly in their beds.

“Dear pregnancy insomnia, Please go bother someone else…like dads. Go bother dads. My husband sleeps so soundly and peacefully and I’ve been awake for 2 hours (so far). How is this fair? Imma lose my mind.”

Oh the frustration. We’ve been there. But that wasn’t all. Carrie returned to Twitter the next morning to reveal the results of her insomnia, which led her to purchase a few things.

“Worst part about insomnia = waking up this morning to see what I bought online while I was up,” she wrote. “I just realized I spent over $600 on make up.

Carrie announced in August, via Instagram, that she and Mike were expecting her second child. The new baby, another boy, which she revealed at the CMA awards while hosting with Brad Paisley, will join big brother Isaiah.

While many were speculating when Carrie would give birth to her second child, Carrie’s tourmate, Maddie & Tae’s Taylor Dye spilled the beans in November to US Weekly.

“January,” she told the publication at the CMA Awards. “And we’ve already offered to babysit.”

Carrie’s Cry Pretty Tour 360 with Runaway June and Madde & Tae doesn’t kick off until May, giving the mom plenty of one-on-one time with her newborn. And time for plenty of slpeep. Yeah, right!
