Carrie Underwood Just Released a NEW Photo of Herself in the Studio, Which Means– She’s Back!

Finally! Yes! Amen! Carrie Underwood, after almost 5 months of being out of the spotlight, has released a new photo of her face to the world. And even better– the photo is of her in a recording studio, meaning– new music could be coming!

It’s been almost 2 years since Carrie released her last single, “Church Bells” and a year since she announced she was switching record labels.

And of course, no one has seen her since the 2017 CMA Awards after she suffered a fall at her home the following weekend. We can’t be certain, because she hasn’t actually said, but we do believe that it was the left side of her face that was injured– which is pictured here. As always, she looks flawless.

In January, Carrie shared that, ” I somehow managed to injure my face as well. I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in” and that she didn’t know when she would be ready to be in front of the camera again.

Carrie is scheduled to perform at CMA Fest this year.
