Things will look a little different at this year’s CMA Awards. Carrie Underwood is returning for her 12th year and she’s bringing pals Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton to help with the heavy lifting.

This is neither Reba, nor Dolly’s first time at the CMA podium. Reba was the solo host in 1991, but co-hosted with Randy Travis in 1990 and with Vince Gill in 1992. Dolly emceed the evening’s festivities in 1988.

Obviously, all three of the accomplished women have their own stash of CMA trophies. Combined, the three hosts hold 124 CMA Awards nominations and 22 total wins, 11 of which are for Female Vocalist of the Year. In addition, the three superstars hold a combined 14 nominations in the Entertainer of the Year category, with Parton receiving the award in 1978 and McEntire winning in 1986.

Although some fans are up in arms regarding the change to the line-up which removes Brad Paisley from his co-hosting duties — a position he held with Carrie for the previous 11 years—the “My Miracle” singer tweeted his sincere well wishes to the new line-up.

Prior to Brad and Carrie’s run as hosts, Vince Gill held the post for the longest continuing run as emcee. He began in 1992 with Reba before handing over the podium to Brooks and Dunn in 2004. Before that, hosts were changed out every year or every few years.
