The stars came out Sunday night (Feb. 17) to participate in NBC’s Elvis Presley tribute,  “Elvis All-Star Tribute.”  Carrie Underwood and Yolanda Adams shared the stage to perform the powerful tune, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

The Blake Shelton hosted event featured performances by country acts Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Pistol Annies, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. Additionally Alessia Cara, Mac Davis, John Fogerty, Josh Groban, Adam Lambert, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and Ed Sheeran took the stage.

As part of Elvis’ love of gospel, Carrie and Yolanda showed off their vocal prowess by singing gospel tunes “How Great Thou Art” (Carrie) and “He Touched Me” (Yolanda). It was when the duo came together on “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” that the audience was brought to church.

“Walk on through the wind / Walk on through the rain / Though your dreams be tossed
And blown / Walk on, walk on / With hope in your heart / And you’ll never walk alone / You’ll never / Ever walk alone,” the ladies belted out taking turns with verses.

The two-hour show recreated Elvis’ 1968 show, called ’68 Comeback Special, that ignited his career. Additionally, rare footage and interviews with Presley’s wife, Priscilla Presley, the special’s director, Steve Binder, and daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, were be featured
