Without question, Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360 is one of the most exciting tours of 2019. With lights, pyrotechnics, projection screens, moving parts, and one of the tightest bands in country music, it’s a delight for the eyes and ears. But it’s also a treat for the heart and soul.

Obviously, Carrie features inspiring songs like “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “See You Again,” and “Temporary Home,” during her set but it’s her performance of “The Champion” that has everyone buzzing. Instead of singing the Ludacris parts to the hit song herself, Carrie has invited local heroes to join her on stage for one of the most compelling moments of the night.

However, during the tour stop in Las Vegas, it kinda went to the next level, thanks to special guest Steven Schiraldi.

With a little help from a friend, Steven was rolled onto the stage in his wheelchair. However, as soon as he started rapping, then joined the country superstar in the chorus, the wheelchair disappeared and it was merely two enthusiastic entertainers wailing like rock stars.

Honey hush!

According to the Arizona Daily Star, Steven was born with spina bifida. He is a paraplegic, but he’s so much more than that. He’s a songwriter who got his first cut in 2014, and he’s a monster country music fan. This also wasn’t his first time to meet Carrie. In 2016 during The Storyteller Tour, he managed to meet up with Carrie to grab a photo and it appears, he’s been a longtime fan of the singer.
