Carrie Underwood did a special live performance of “Smoke Break,” the first track released from her upcoming album Storyteller, for the Grand Ole Opry’s 90th birthday party.

The powerhouse country icon has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry family since 2008 and still feels honored anytime she gets to perform on its stage.

“This really truly is the best family in the world to be a part of. I am blessed beyond measure to get to stand on this stage and just be a part of a living history,” Underwood said to the press. “I am so grateful for the Grand Ole Opry and just all of its members and all of the people who have graced its stage over the 90 years that it’s been here.”

Carrie’s new album Storyteller is just days from being released and she is also preparing to host the 49th annual CMA Awards in early November.
