“American Idol” Finalist Gabby Barrett Sits Face To Face with Carrie Underwood for “Last Name” Duet [Watch]

-

It’s no secret that “American Idol” finalist Gabby Barrett is a big fan of country superstar Carrie Underwood. The Idol contestant covered Carrie’s songs for her audition and during the show, revealing her admiration for the singer.

But while the judges advised her to stay away from country, the Pittsburgh native forged on. “I know it was a risk doing a Carrie Underwood song, but at this point in the competition, you’ve got to give it all or nothing.”

In a video Gabby posted on Youtube, as part of Carrie’s mentor session on “American Idol,” the two ladies sat face to face at Nashville’s renowned Bluebird Cafe. In the video, the ladies take turns going back and forth on a duet of Carrie’s 2008 hit “Last Name.”

We can’t wait for their next collaboration together.
