Danielle Bradbery Covers Post Malone’s “Psycho” [Listen]

-

Danielle Bradbery has proved she’s skilled at singing in several genres of music. The singer’s latest project, “Yours Truly: 2018,” has the country singer covering three of the biggest songs of 2018.

In her most recent cover, Danielle puts her own spin on rapper Post Malone’s track “Psycho.” Backed by a piano, guitar and strings, Danielle’s unique interpretation gives added meaning to the song’s introspective lyrics. The stripped down track highlights Danielle’s ability singing at a rapid pace and with a soulful take on Post Malone’s original, Danielle cleverly makes the track her own. Listen below.

“Psycho” is the last release of Danielle’s three-song project. Her first cover was Ariana Grande’s memorable “God Is A Woman,” which again allowed the singer’s soulful vocals to shine. She followed up the pop cover with Kacey Musgraves’ “Slow Burn.”

“I grew up listening to all kinds of music from country to R&B and hip hop, even Hispanic music with my mom’s side of the family, and all of those influences have impacted my own art,” Danielle recently shared with Billboard. “Incredible music was released across all genres this year, so I wanted to mark this moment in time with my own versions of some of my favorites. I can’t wait for everyone to hear my take on these songs.”

Danielle will likely test out these three songs on the road as well as perform tracks off her 2017 sophomore album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, this year. She’ll join Kane Brown in the upcoming months for select dates as part of his 2019 Live Forever Tour.
