Dolly Parton Releases Newly-Recorded Rendition of “Here I Am” With Sia

Dolly Parton is inarguably one of the greatest queens of country music— and just music in general. Throughout her impressive career, she’s partnered with countless talented singers and songwriters for incredible collaborations— but her latest duo with singer and songwriter Sia is one of her best yet.

Dolly and Sia recreated Dolly’s 1971 Coat of Many Colors album hit, “Here I Am,” as part of the original soundtrack for the soon-to-be-released Netflix film, “DUMPLIN’,” starring Jennifer Aniston. According to Rolling Stone, Dolly is the executive producer of the film’s album— and she’s contributing six all-new compositions for it, along with several more newly-recorded collaborations of some of her classic songs.

“Well this is an important moment and I’m so proud to be able to share it with you all,” Dolly said in an Instagram post announcing the song’s release. “I re-recorded “Here I Am” with the incredibly talented Sia, and I sure do hope you love it.”
