Jana Kramer is learning how to juggle motherhood with two children and in the latest episode of her podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer, the country singer says she has received an overwhelming response about her decision not to breastfeed her six-week old son, Jace Joseph.

“I’ve had so many people reach out to me on DMs. It’s been really great but it also [is] just really frustrating,” she shares. “But I also don’t need to explain to [them] why it’s either not working or we’re not doing it or we chose not to. I don’t know why we feel like we have to explain.”

The singer, who has an older daughter with husband Mike Caussin, admits that she often feels judged on her decision not to breastfeed their newborn.

“I feel like I have to hide the bottle when I’m in public because people are judging me. I feel judged,” she adds. “I guess I’m saying this to, also, the moms out there that feel this way too. Let’s not feel like we have to defend our decision. Let’s just be the best moms that we are.”

Jana has been vocal about mom shamers before. Recently, she shared a post on Instagram after receiving distasteful comments about her post-baby body.

“It’s amazing the comments and how rude some people can be from my last photo I took yesterday. A few things, no I didn’t get a tummy tuck, no I don’t have a personal chef, no I don’t have fortunes so I didn’t train every day,” she writes. “And wow, here I am defending myself. Why?!?”
