It seems that Jason Aldean is doing his best to even out the gender count in his home, and in the process, he and his family are rescuing a new puppy.

Jason’s wife, Brittany, shared an adoption announcement and photo on her Instagram and gives us details on their new addition.

“Y’all…we have a new baby boy,” she writes. “We rescued him from @strayrescuestl  His brothers and sisters were all found in a drain pipe on an extremely hot day in St Louis There are 7 pups still waiting to be adopted – check out there page and give a loving home to our baby’s siblings or any of their other amazing doggies!  (We don’t have a name yet… so feel free to give us ideas)”

The pupster is a handsome brindle and white terrier mix and seems perfectly content to let his new mommy snuggle on  him. And, as Brittany requested, fans answered with some very thoughtful and fun names.

One suggested, “Louie since he’s from St. Louis!” Another said, “Love this! Name him “Stanley” since we just won the Cup!” And what about: “Ninja or something from teenage mutant ninja turtles. Didn’t they live in the sewer pipes?”

Very clever, people!

Perhaps Kane Brown and his wife will get in on the adoption as Katelyn Jae has already fallen in love with the pups. In a comment to Brittany’s post she said, “Ughhhhh little baby ! I can’t wait to come play with him 😍😍😍 I fell in complete love !!! So happy he has the BEST home ever !!🙌🏼”

You can see the pup’s dramatic rescue on the Stray Rescue St. Louis Instagram page. You can also make donations to the organization or, if you have room in your heart and home for one of these precious furbabies, you can contact them for further details.
