Going to visit fans injured in the 2017 Las Vegas shooting was the hardest thing Jason Aldean has ever had to do. These were his fans coming to see his show. No one expected them to be left injured or in a coma. But their strength has encouraged him to keep moving forward.

“The strength they had, just being alive and make it through that allowed me to look at it in a different light,” he said while talking to Ellen Degeneres. “If these people can come back from it and have that sort of attitude, I’ve got nothing to be worried about.”

Aldean’s new album, Rearview Town, is out now, featuring his recent release, “You Make It Easy.”
