Jennifer Nettles and Josh Groban Tease New Collaboration and It’s Everything We’d Want It To Be

-

As Jennifer Nettles is criss-crossing the country with her partner in crime Kristian Bush on the Sugarland Still the Same Tour, the Georgia native has been in the studio working on something special with singer Josh Groban.

Josh and Jennifer have collaborated on a new song that appears to be about overcoming past hurts.

“Nothing unspoken / live everyday hoping /  that where we feel broken our scars make us golden /  It’s still truth / You and I,” the duo sings in the song before the snippet ends.

Last month, Josh took to Twitter to share a tease of the two in the studio together, leaving fans wondering what was to come.

“Me. Nettles. Oh my goodness my ears and voice are happy. Stay tuned. 🎶,” he wrote.

Then, because he was really liking what they were doing, Josh decided to share a snippet on social media, giving fans a taste of what they’ve been working on. ” I feel like sharing a snippet. @jennifernettles you are just too damn good and cool. #99years #bridges #sept21,” he wrote.

Jennifer jumped in the fray and shared the same snippet saying, “I am so excited for you all to hear this collab!!! This whole record!!! Coming Sept21!!!! Josh shared this sneak peek!!! @joshgroban you are a dear and a force!!”

No word on when the song will be released but the snippet we were able to hear has us wanting more. Jennifer and Josh’s voices compliment each other, pulling us in to what feels like a explosion of emotion.
