Justin Moore may physically be on the smaller side, but if you’ve ever been to one of his concerts, you know that he is larger than life on stage. He also seems to be pretty fearless. But even a cowboy encounters a rank horse from time to time, and Justin just met his four legged match.
The Arkansas native shared a pretty gruesome photo on his Instagram page that showed that his leg had taken a pretty extreme beating. Bruised and bloody, he explains in the caption, “Anything for art! First time in my career I’ve been stepped on by a horse during an album photo shoot. Lol. Hopefully, we got the shot though! New album, Late Nights And Longnecks coming soon!”
Justin says stepped on, but as many of the fan comments point out, it looks more like he was trampled by the beast. It also looks like he could have suffered a broken bone or two, but there’s no confirmation of that.
As awful as Justin’s injuries are, we can’t help but get a little excited that, as he points out in his post, there is new music coming from the country star.
Late Nights and Longnecks will be Justin’s fourth studio album for Valory Music Group following the 2016 release of Kinda Don’t Care. The new project is said to be a return to the singer-songwriter’s traditional country roots. “The Ones That Didn’t Make it Back Home” is the first single from Late Nights and Longnecks.
