Kane Brown fans are confused, shocked and a bit distressed after the country artist’s Twitter page vanished from the social media platform following the CMA Awards nominations announcement. With his first baby on the way, the support slot on Jason Aldean’s Ride All Night Tour and a new single, “Homesick,” it seems an inopportune time to take a break, but, according to a post on his Instagram stories, the break is temporary.
The post reads, “So, my management team will be running my Twitter and Facebook from now on so I can focus on music and my family and stay off my phone. It’s taking over my life. So, Instagram will be the only thing u can get ahold of me on, at least until the next album.”
Simple enough, right? Well, of course, speculation has arisen that Kane’s Twitter page being shut out at the CMA nominations. And comments on a since-deleted tweet seem to support that, however, this is purely speculation as Kane has neither confirmed nor mentioned anything else on social media. And why wouldn’t he delete all of his accounts?
In fact, he appeared on Good Morning America in Central Park on August 30th and not only did he deliver a stirring rendition of his brand new single, “Homesick,” and a rousing version of his monster hit, “Lose It,” he was also grinning ear-to-ear when Marshmello joined him on stage for their new collaboration, “Happier.”
