Kane Brown Performs “Heaven” On “The Voice” as Half of the Contestants Go Home

As the “The Voice” contestants were learning their fate Tuesday night, Kane Brown worked his magic performing his latest No. 1 hit, “Heaven” on the show.

The song, about time with his woman being better than Heaven, reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week, giving Kane his second consecutive No. 1 hit. The love ballad is the follow up to “What Ifs,” a duet with Lauren Alaina.

Everybody’s talking about heaven like they just can’t wait to go / Saying how it’s gonna be so good, so beautiful / Lying next to you, in this bed with you, I ain’t convinced / ‘Cause, I don’t know how, I don’t know how heaven, heaven / Could be better than this,” Kane sings in the chorus.

The 24-year-old, not much older than the contestants vying for their shot at stardom, appeared on the show during a tense time. The Top 8 contestants were being dwindled down to the Top 4, leaving us with only half of the singers left. It’s all coming down to the wire as Team Blake Shelton’s Spensha Baker and Kyla Jade, Team Kelly Clarkson’s Brynn Cartelli and Team Alicia’s Britton Buchanan head to the finals to battle it out.

Unfortunately, Adam Levine’s Rayshun LaMarr was eliminated, leaving Team Adam with no one heading to the finals.
