Kane Brown knows how to chill out on the weekends. The 24-year-old released the video for his current single, “Weekend,” and he’s doing it right.
Kane keeps the video real by kicking off his weekend shopping for the necessities—at where else, Walmart. Just when you think the the whole video may be shot in Walmart, think again. Kane and his friends, including fiancée Katelyn Jae, hit the lake for a relaxing weekend.
The crew sets up camp at a fly house on the lake and then the really fun begins. The lake adventure comes complete with giant inflatables, slides and paddle boards. It soon accelerates to tubing and slip n slide fun. Everything you need for a weekend at the lake.
In the song, Kane sings about of all the fun he and his lady can have on the weekend and in the video, he shows us how it’s done.
“Three days just ain’t enough and time’s ticking’ / So keep that cherry red lipstick sticking on me / Just chillin’ on the weekend / Sipping something on the cheap end / Skinny dipping in the deep end / Or bass fishing with your feet in,” Kane sings in the chorus.
“Weekend” follows Kane’s previous No. 1 hit “Heaven,” both featured on his sophomore album, due out Nov. 9.
Kane certainly knows how to make the most out of a “Weekend.”
