If Kane Brown was the vindictive type, he may have hit the American Idol stage during the May 19 grand finale a little puffed up. The hit singer-songwriter once auditioned for the show and was rejected.

However, Kane isn’t that guy and that was obvious when he took the stage to perform “Good As You” and “Lost In the Middle of Nowhere.” A class act, he was cool and confident encouraging the audience to sing along. And when he invited Top 10 finalist Alyssa Raghu to join him on stage, he interacted with the hopeful young singer and engaged with the audience like it was any stop on his concert trail. He even offered Alyssa a warm hug after they finished.

Speaking of concert trails, Kane is on the road this summer as part of Jason Aldean’s 2019 Ride All Night Tour. The friends are traveling together into September, but Kane also has fair and festival dates dotting his itinerary as well.

Kane is currently watching his single, “Good As You,” near the top of the country singles chart. “Lost In the Middle of Nowhere,” featuring Becky G appears to be the follow-up single, however, no official announcement has been made. It has already charted in the Top 40 on country singles charts, so fans and radio are speaking up.

It’s shaping up to be a great year for the singer and for his wife, Katelyn. The couple is also expecting a baby girl later this year.
