Keith Urban has released the new video for his current single, “Coming Home,” featuring Julia Michaels.

“Coming Home,” written by Keith, J.R. Rotem, Julia Michaels, Merle Haggard and Nicolle Galyon, finds Keith singing about longing to go home to the ones you love.

“There’s a place that I know where they all know me / I gotta get back now to the ones who love me / Wrap myself around you, never let you go / There’s nothing in the world that feels like / The place that I know where they all know me / I gotta get back now to the ones who love me / Wrap myself around you, never let you go / There’s nothing in the world that feels like / Coming home, home, home, mmm / Coming home,” Keith sings in the chorus.

In the video, directed by Andy Hines, Keith longs to go to the comfort of home. Keith is pictured in a city studio apartment with drab lighting, thinking of home. As he steps out the window he winds up in a comforting place where the sun is shining and green grass grows.

“The concept for the video was really Andy Hines’ idea,” said Keith.  “He suggested the heightened reality that we see in the video, which keeps it more like a dream – an idea, more than an actuality.  It was also important to have Julia there – she’s great energy to be around and I love singing with her, so I wanted us to be on stage at the same time to capture that.”

Julia appears performing on stage with Keith, as another Keith is watching said performance, adding a dreamlike quality of watching oneself.

Keith is currently gearing up for his 62-city Graffiti U World Tour with Kelsea Ballerini, which kicks off in St. Louis on June 15.
