Keith Urban and his Graffiti U Tour made a stop in Toronto, Ontario this week and just in time for Canada day, celebrated on July 1. While in Canada on June 30, Keith invited surprise guest, Canadian country singer Lindsay Ell to join him on stage to perform their duet “Horses.”

The performance in Ontario was the first time the two singers performed it live. “Horses” can be found on Keith’s Graffiti U album and has the duo singing about coming out of your shell and not holding back.

“And I know and I know and I know / That you just wanna dance in the light / Don’t you know? Don’t you know? Don’t you know? / You’re alive / So just let your horses run / To the limit like never before / Let’s be lost and young / Wanna show you what your heart is made for / Let your horses run / Run, run, run, oh / Let your horses run / Run, run, run,” they sing in the chorus.

Keith kicked off the song, singing the first verse with Lindsay joining in on the second verse and chorus. While Lindsay was stationed a few feet from Keith on stage, the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer grabbed her mic and moved her closer to him, with the Canadian flag draping the mic stand, giving a more intimate performance. They later went toe to toe on the guitar solo.

Lindsay took to Instagram to share the amazing experience.

“My fav song off of #GraffitiU…..so awesome to sing it with you live for the first time @keithurban,” she wrote.

The “Criminal” singer will join Keith for 8 stops on the Graffiti U Tour, including Arkansas and seven dates in her home country of Canada. The remaining dates of the tour will be opened by Kelsea Ballerini.
