Kelly Clarkson is known for standing up for herself on social media. If someone does her wrong in a tweet, she’s right there to answer back. Well, the pop singer doesn’t just take on social media trolls, she also stands up to radio.

In a post on Twitter, iHeart Radio was promoting Kelly Clarkson’s new talk show coming up and her scheduled performance for the iHeart Festival in Las Vegas on Sept. 21.

performer? Check. Talk show host? Check. is doing it all,” iHeart wrote.

The Tweet didn’t go unnoticed by the superstar and in a perfect response, Kelly clapped back speaking her truth.

“….except for getting my songs played on your stations. I guess I’m cool enough to invite but not cool enough to play my record. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Ouch! Tell it like it is.

Looks like Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles took a liking to Kelly’s Tweet. She reposted Kelly’s response saying, “How to drag someone and still be endearing: the Truth .”

And we couldn’t love Kelly anymore for it.

The “Meaning of Life” singer is set to take the stage for the festival on Saturday, Sept. 21 with fellow singers Justin Timberlake, Jack White, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Imagine Dragons, Jason Aldean, Sam Smith, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd Panic! At The Disco, Shawn Mendes, Kygo, Rae Sremmurd, Logic and more.
