Kelly Clarkson is one of the most innovative entertainers there is. During her stops on The Meaning of Life Tour, she scales things back for a moment in a segment called “Minute and A Glass of Wine,” which broadcasts on Facebook live. This allows fans who may not be able to attend the show an opportunity to get in on the action. But during her tour stop in Nashville on March 29, a special guest stopped by to get in on the fun—Reba McEntire.
The pair resurrected a bit of their hit single “Because of You” for the Nashville crowd. Then the collaboration turned into a retrospective of some of Kelly’s favorite Reba hits, including “Can’t Even Get the Blues,” “Fancy,” and “Is There Life Out There.”
Fans then got a taste of Reba’s new single, “Freedom,” from her upcoming album, Stronger Than the Truth.
Kelly wrapped the Meaning of Life Tour on March 30. Now, the “Miss Independent” singer will focus her time on vying for her third win in a row on NBC’s “The Voice.” She is also getting fired up to host her own daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, which is scheduled to make its debut in September.
Reba is now gearing up for a fun weekend in Las Vegas where she’ll host the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards for the 17th time. The star-studded night of music has already announced performances from artists like George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Brooks and Dunn, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, and Carrie Underwood.
The ACM Awards broadcasts live, April 7 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on CBS.
