You’re so Nashville if…you celebrate your new number-one on a pedal tavern and at Top Golf. Or maybe that should say, “you’re so Kelsea Ballerini if…” because that’s exactly what the sweet and talented ingenue did after learning that “Miss Me More” had topped the country singles chart.

Kelsea called a group of her gal pals and, of course, husband Morgan Evans, and hit downtown Nashville for a bit of day drinking on one of the city’s pedal taverns. In a post on her Instagram page, Kelsea documented the fun and festivities and it looks like the gang of party pals also hit up one of the downtown honkytonks for a bit of dancing as well as taking a few swings at the city’s new Top Golf facility.

In the caption, Kelsea wrote, ““I didn’t want to lose my friends but now it’s hard to even find th-“ just kidding here they are being the best humans in the world taking on Nashville with me yesterday.”

Can we just say, Kelsea has one super fun possé?

Morgan also shared a photo on his Instagram giving his bride a lift. Literally. He writes, “When you’re at the club in shorts and thongs and you don’t dance but your wife’s song just went #1 and she wants you to dance … congrats baby! You deserve it all!!! #missmemore  @_blythethomas”

“Miss Me More” is Kelsea’s fifth No. 1 hit, following singles, “Legends,” “Peter Pan,” “Dibs” and “Love Me Like You Mean It.” This was the first chart-topping single for a female artist in Country music in 15 months. Ballerini was the last woman in the genre to hit No. 1 with “Legends” in February 2018.

“Whether it’s a partner, friend, colleague, situation, or chapter of life, sometimes we lose a piece of ourselves to someone,” shares Ballerini. “This song is all about choosing to spend our energy in a way that lets us be the best version of ourselves for the right people – when they come along. I’m so proud that this song and message got the megaphone of Country radio. Thank you so much for this #1!”

While nothing has been confirmed as a follow-up single to “Miss Me More,” Kelsea has alluded to the fact that her next release may come from the album that she has diligently been in the studio working on in between show dates.

Congratulations Kelsea and team!
