If you’re a fan of Lauren Alaina, aside from her being one of the best vocalists country music has seen, you know she has a fun-loving, up-for-anything personality. But when the 23-year-old decided to grant a request for a fan, she had no idea how much fun would ensue.

You see, Lauren was performing for fans at the HGTV Lodge during CMA Fest and while she hadn’t planned on doing her song “Next Boyfriend, she couldn’t turn down a request from Zach, a fan who really wanted to hear the upbeat tune and join her on stage. Lauren has been know for pulling random male fans out of the audience and thrusting them into the spotlight, but this time Zach actually asked for it.

And deliver he did. The young fan whipped out his cellphone and took video of himself on stage, turning the phone to the crowd, causing them to yell wildly. Even Lauren was impressed, unable to contain her laughter throughout.

Then things got real. Lauren, putting her arm around Zach asked, “Who wants to see what he’s got?” The crowd cheered and she stood alongside him doing the Whip/Nae Nae dance and the stanky legg. “You’re killing this, I’m so glad you asked,” Lauren said before making Zach twerk in front of the crowd.

Zach knew every word to the song and when Lauren put the mic in his face to sing, he changed the lyrics from “you look a lot like my next boyfriend” to “you look a lot like my next girlfriend,” which made Lauren double over with laughter.

The two ended the performance with a hug and when Lauren found out that Zach was only 15, she apologized for making him twerk on stage.

“I’m sorry I just made your 15-year-old twerk,” she said as Zach went back in the audience. “I’m actually not sorry. I’m sorry, I’m not sorry.”

And that’s why it’s easy to fall in love Lauren Alaina.
