When it comes to tireless work ethics in country music, it’s hard to beat Lauren Alaina. The 24- year-old spitfire seems to embrace every opportunity that comes her way, which makes for a pretty busy schedule. Like rolling from a big opening weekend on tour with Blake Shelton to make her debut on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” performing her single “Ladies in the ’90s”

If you haven’t heard “Ladies in the ‘90s” yet, the tune nods to the musical influences that helped shape Lauren’s career. Co-written with Jesse Frasure and Amy Wadge, the lyrics namecheck both pop and country songs from artists like Alanis Morissette, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, Madonna, Reba, and Shania.

I just wanna feel like ladies in the 90’s / Turn the dial and find me some Strawberry Wine / So I can sing all night long, acting like I’m Britney / Come on baby, hit me just one more / time, hey / Man, I feel like a woman / I can feel you breathe when you say my name /Hey, I don’t want no scrubs / Need a cowboy to take me away / I wanna feel like ladies in the 90’s / Ladies in the 90’s, hey hey hey,” she sings in the chorus.

The Georgia native confidently took the stage, decked out in a purple gown, complete with ’90s shoulder pads, and oversized earrings for the energetic performance.

Following the show, Lauren took to Instagram to share her excitement about her debut on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

“We are tickled pink over being on @latenightseth tonight. All of my guys’ first late night show. Thank you @sethmeyers#lnsm,” she wrote.
