If there is still any question of the kind of big-hearted people that Luke Bryan and his wife, Caroline, are, maybe their most recent gesture of kindness will provide a solid answer.

The Nashville animal rescue organization Proverbs 12:10 shared an image on Instagram of a sweet doggo named Kimmie who had been rescued from a kill shelter on June 15.

Just a couple of days later, she had been vetted and was declared ready for her fur-ever home. In the meantime, though, she needed a shelter where she could stretch her long legs and share the company of humans.

Enter Luke and Caroline.

Proverbs shared a new photo of the precious pup snuggled up with her temporary family, and in the caption, they wrote, “What a difference a few days can make! We pulled this girl from a kill shelter on Saturday and today she is hanging out with the Bryan family! We are so very grateful for our fosters that make it possible for us to save animals in need. @linabryan3 @lukebryan @brettsbarn.”

Now, from the look on all three of their faces, it’s hard to imagine that the Bryan family could surrender this baby girl, especially knowing their passion for rescuing animals, but Brett’s Barn also shared that photo and made it clear that the gorgeous blonde and tan hound is available for adoption. They also give details for anyone interested in adopting:

“❤️NASHVILLE❤️ Meet Kimmie and her foster parents! The poor girl was being kept in a little cage with her previous owner so Luke and Caroline decided to take her in. She is super sweet and has been great with the dogs and kiddos! Kimmie is ready for her forever home- head on over to @proverbs1210animalrescue to get more information and fill out your adoption application!”
