In Nashville, you never know when or where you’re going to run into a country star or their significant other. But next February, if you’re buying a ticket for the Golden Girls Cruise, you might run into Luke Bryan’s wife, Caroline.
Caroline—a celebrity in her own right—shared a post on her Instagram page celebrating the news that the classic television sitcom is actually hosting their first namesake Golden Girls Cruise in 2020. And Caroline is beside herself.
In addition to sharing a photo of the promo about the adventure, she also shares several of her favorite screenshots of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia. In the caption, she writes, “‘Dorthy, move the coffee table. I wanna do a cartwheel.’ – Sophia. Might be a little unnatural to be this excited but….who wants to go?!?! My friends have already committed…they just don’t know it yet! #goldengirls #bestshowever.”
Some of Caroline’s friends have already expressed that they’re all in. Even hit songwriter and record executive Shane McAnally commented, “I’m in and I’m not joking.”
Now, according to People, this cruise should be a hoot and a half. Appropriately departing from Miami, where the ladies enjoyed summer evenings on their lanai, the five-night journey features all of the typical cruise amenities in addition to “Golden Girls” themed activities like a look-alike contest, a sail-away party with cheesecake, and a “One Night in St. Olaf Dance Party.”
Picture it, Sicily 1922…
