Leave it to Miranda Lambert to find a way to making powering through difficult times sound like fun. That’s exactly what she does in her newest single release, “It All Comes Out in the Wash.”

Ran has been teasing fans with hints at new music, including sharing a video on Instagram of her husband, Brendon, throwing a load of laundry in the washer…shirtless. Heck, that proves if it doesn’t come OUT in the wash, it might come OFF in the wash.

Co-written with hit songwriting team The Love Junkies (Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose), Miranda says, “When we were little, our moms would say ‘let’s not worry about a stain.’ Everyone goes through times in life that are difficult and has moments that they wish would pass. This song is a mix of scenarios that we have all either been a part of or have seen, and is a fun reminder that hard times do eventually pass.”

Fans who take the deep dive on Miranda’s albums might liken the tune to “We Should Be Friends” from the singer’s last collection, The Weight of These Wings. Both songs have that infectious shuffley groove, along with fun, visual lyrics however, “It All Comes Out in the Wash” has a great gritty texture that sometimes pops and sometimes crackles. And just like “Friends,” it’s bound to become a favorite singalong at live shows, especially among her female fans.

Fingers crossed for a fun video to go with it.

It’s obviously a busy year for Miranda. In addition to new music—her first in a handful of years—she’ll be appearing at fairs and festivals this summer, including Cheyenne Frontier Days in August. Then, this fall, she’s headlining her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour with some of her best gal pals like Pistol Annies, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Elle King, Caylee Hammack and Tenille Townes.
