After hosting the ACM Awards a total of 15 times, the 16th time is bound to be a piece of cake. Well that’s how Reba McEntire made it seem when she took the stage at the 53rd Annual ACM Awards as host.

The hosting pro took to the stage and had the audience in the palm of her hand. How could she not? After all, she is the Queen of country. Right off the bat, Reba had the A-list audience eating out of the palm of her hand. Leaving many of us to wonder, why she ever left.

Each time our favorite red head hit the screen, we knew we were in for a treat. Here are our favorite lines of the night, as said by Reba McEntire.

8 Funniest Lines From Reba McEntire During the ACM Awards:

1. “I first hosted this show in 1986. To put that in perspective, not only was Kelsea Ballerini not born, her parents weren’t even dating yet.”

2. ” This year I’m following some guys who have done such a great job as hosts—Luke and Dierks. And before that, Luke and Blake. I guess they finally figured out that it only takes one woman to do the job of two men.”

3. “I guess what happens in Vegas comes out in Nashville nine months later.”(In reference to Chris Stapleton expecting twins.)

4. “Do you remember the biggest thing in 1993? My hair.”

5.  “I don’t know who said that records were made to be broken, but it dab blang sure wasn’t Brooks and Dunn.” (After Miranda Lambert surpassed Brooks and Dunn for most ACM wins.)

6. Jason Aldean is the one who let the world know that Luke Bryan has the initials of his wife tattooed on his backside. Which raises two questions, why did Luke do it and how does Jason know? “

7. “A man who has won 12 ACM awards and can definitely rock a frosted tip.”  (When introducing Keith Urban).

8. “They told me I can’t talk about politics, drinking or breakups. They do know this is a country music show, right?”
