It was the game that had all of Nashville a buzz. Do or die. The seventh game of the Nashville Predators series against the Winnipeg Jets would determine their fate. So who better to sing the national anthem prior to the pressure filled game than pop/country singer, Sheryl Crow.

The Missouri native took to the ice decked out in a Predators jersey to unknowingly be the last singer to take the ice for the 2018 season. At the end of the performance, Sheryl was joined by former Tennessee Titans running back, Eddie George to wave the yellow towel and rev up the already excited crowd.

Unfortunately, all the revelry didn’t help the home team. The Predators went on to lose the game 5-1, eliminating them from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There’s always next year, along with a new lineup of A-list stars singing the national anthem.
