Singer/songwriter Steve Moakler and his wife Gracie welcomed their first child—a boy—Jackson Thomas Moakler on Sunday (Jan. 6).
The couple took to Instagram to share the good news and introduce their son to the world.
“Dear World, I’d like to introduce you to our son, Jackson Thomas Moakler. His buddies call him Jack…Words cannot describe how blown away we are to be his parents!! He and his momma are happy and healthy, and his Dad is over the moon. Praising the Lord.”
Gracie followed up with a post about the birth. “Everyone, meet the newest member of the Moakler family! Jackson Thomas “Jack” joined us this afternoon around 2:30. Almost 24 hours of labor to birth these 9 lbs of chunky love. We are obsessed and overjoyed!!!.”
Steve and Gracie announced that they were expecting a baby in July. The couple posted a photo holding a onesie that reads Moakler, alongside an airstream trailer
“Well team…it looks like we’ve got a 3rd passenger coming on the road this year. It’s gonna be bumpin’ #DadJokes🙌🏼👶🏻😎,” Steve wrote.
Steve, who is known for writing songs for Dierks Bentley (“Riser”), Jake Owen (“Surefire Feeling”), Reba (“Angels Singin’”), Kellie Pickler (“Buzzin’”), released his fifth studio album, Born Ready, in 2018.
Congratulations to the happy couple.
