If you’re a Thomas Rhett or Kelsea Ballerini fan…or like us, you’re both…you’ll want to mark your calendar for August 4 when the pair returns to host CMA Fest. the Music Event of Summer.
This year, radio and television host Bobby Bones will also appear as a special guest on the evening of country music magic shot in Nashville over the course of the Country Music Association’s four day CMA Music Festival. The three-hour special will include performances from Nashville’s Nissan Stadium where many of the biggest stars in country music leave it all on the stage for the tens of thousands of fans who come from all over the world, yes, the world, to take part in this annual event.
Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert and Pistol Annies, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood and Brett Young are among the artist performing on the big stage in the stadium, but we wouldn’t be surprised if a special guest or two popped up and made for a great TV moment.
Remember, the three-hour primetime special airs on ABC August 4 starting at 8pm ET/7pm CT.
If you’re in Nashville this week for the festival, be sure to smile pretty and wave at the cameras. And if you’re tuning into the special, prepare to be transported to Nashville for a night.
