Thomas Rhett has to keep in shape to keep up with his grueling schedule on stage every night. Running around for two hours a night can take it’s toll. So it’s safe to assume the “T-Shirt” singer hits the gym for an intense workout.
What we didn’t know, is that the father of two uses the kids dance, The Floss, to add some strain on his muscles. Teenagers and kids all over the world would be proud. After all, TR did show his dance moves while trying to do the stanky leg on his bus.
If you’re not familiar with the Floss, it’s a dance move that has your arms swinging rapidly from side to side around your hips. Not as easy as it sounds. The Floss was started by 16-year-old Russell Horning, dubbed the “Backpack Kid,” when he did the move on the sketch comedy show, “Saturday Night Live,” dancing during Katy Perry’s performance of “Swish Swish.”
Apparently, even country artists are getting in on the act. TR’s trainer had the 28-year-old grab some weights in his hands and launch into The Floss, progressing faster and faster. TR showed some pretty good coordination, before breaking down into laughter. Feel the burn!
