This year is shaping up to be another big one for country music babies, and now we’ve learned that A Thousand Horses frontman, Michael Hobby, and his podcasting wife, Caroline, are joining the club.

The couple shared the big news in a People exclusive that not only are they announcing their baby will arrive in September, but they also added the bonus news, it’s a girl.

Caroline and Michael found out that they were expecting over the holidays. Michael says, “We were actually at Caroline’s sister’s house in Austin over Christmas. We’ve been trying for a while so it wasn’t a surprise but Caroline just had that sixth sense of ‘I think I’m pregnant.’ She came out of the bathroom, we were all in the kitchen, and she announced it.”

In a post on her Instagram page, Caroline explains that she and Michael had experienced a prior pregnancy that sadly ended in miscarriage.

She writes, “Pregnancy is such a beautiful blessing and I never take it for granted. Before we got pregnant with our angel girl, we experienced miscarriage and loss and almost a year of trying for a baby. As overjoyed as we are right now to be growing a healthy baby, I know how devastating and isolating it feels to not be able to get pregnant or hold a pregnancy. To all the women out there struggling with loss or infertility, seeing another pregnancy announcement and wondering when it will be your turn or if your turn will ever come can be gut wrenching. Please know my heart is with you always even as we share our excitement on our journey to parenthood.”

So now we have Caroline, Tyler Hubbard and wife Hayley, Randy Houser and wife Tatiana, Brantley Gilbert and wife Amber, Brett Young and wife Taylor, and, as we just learned, Kane Brown and wife Kate, all expecting little ones.
