The bright lights of the Las Vegas strip will get a dusting of red dirt when Willie Nelson hits The Venetian Resort for a limited time residency in October.

Willie’s Vegas On My Mind show will cover six nights at the venue where the country music legend previously performed in 2017. Tickets for the October 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, and 26 shows go on sale June 21 at 8am CT through Ticketmaster, the Venetian box office or venetian.com.

Now, before rumors of retirement or farewell tours begin, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Willie just kicked off his Outlaw Music Festival tour that includes a plethora of special guests like Alison Krauss, the Avett Brothers, Brothers Osborne, Luke Combs, Bonnie Raitt, Casey Donahew, Robert Plant, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Willie’s son, Lukas with his band, The Promise of The Real. And, of course, his annual Fourth of July Picnic will take place in Austin, Texas and also includes Jamey Johnson, Steve Earle, Hayes Carll, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Gene Watson, Billy Joe Shaver, and more.

Willie will also be releasing his new album, Ride Me Back Home, on June 21. While many of the songs are originals, Willie also covers country classics like Guy Clark’s “My Favorite Picture of You,” Mac Davis’ “Lord, It’s Hard to Be Humble,” and Billy Joel’s “Just the Way You Are.”

If he remains this active and productive at 86-years-old, we expect we’ll be enjoying music and more from Willie in the years to come.
