The Screen Actors Guild Awards are set to run on January 29, but it’s going to be a “9 to 5” gig for Dolly Parton and Jane Fonda as they will present the SAG Life Achievement Award to Lily Tomlin.
The three superstars starred in the 1980 classic, “9 to 5” and have remained friends ever since.
The SAG Life Achievement Award will fall in line with Tomlin’s other accolades: a 2014 Kennedy Center Award, the 2003 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, two Peabody Awards, multiple Emmys, numerous American Comedy Awards, two Tony Awards, a Grammy, a Writers Guild of America Award and both the Crystal Award and the Lucy Award from Women in Film.
Tomlin presented Parton with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement award during the 50th Annual CMA Awards. Currently, Tomlin and Fonda star in Netflix’s “Grace and Frankie” together.
