“This Is Us” star Chrissy Metz is marking an item off her bucket list! The actress is set to perform with Carrie Underwood, Maddie & Tae, Mickey Guyton, and Lauren Alaina at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards.
The group of powerhouse females will reportedly be singing a song from Chrissy’s new movie, Breakthrough, called “I’m Standing With You.”
“It’s one of those bucket list moments you didn’t think would actually happen, standing on stage with five incredible women who are brilliant vocalists and artists is beyond thrilling,” Metz told The Tennessean.
While this performance is highly anticipated, there are several other big names performing this year including Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Chri s Stapleton, George Strait, and the show’s host, Reba McEntire.
There has already been plenty of hype around the awards this year as Carrie Underwood personally called several of the winners including Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, and Lanco to let them know they’d won in their respective categories.
This year’s 54th annual ACM Awards will air on Sunday, April 7 on CBS.
